  1. Good morning! I have put together a method of learning to quilt that I hope others will find helpful! Please check it out at https://indiequilter.com/2016/04/21/the-graduated-quilt-practice-method/ Have a great day! IndieQuilter

    Tula Pink's butterfly quilt-quilting suggestions

To be honest, what will really need the "extra effort" in the quilting will be the negative space surrounding that butterfly. The butterfly is so busy, that putting a tremendous amount of custom quilting in this area may frustrate and disappoint you. Tula has made two of these quilts (so far) and both have been quilted by Angela Walters, if you want to look those up for inspiration. Can't wait to see how it turns out! Cagey, I'm not familiar with the older foot. Could you direct me to a photo for reference?

George: Tutorials and How To's? Need YOUR ideas!

Thank you! I think I didn't communicate what I meant well enough! I was trying to ask what is missing out there that people might want to see in regards to quilting on the George!

    IndieQuilter Studio!

I recently had my sister-in-law (a professional photographer) do a photoshoot in my studio for headshots. I had her take some lovely studio shots as well. I quilt and create art full time in my studio and am very thankful to have the whole lower level family room for my space. I love being in here!
  6. Good morning! I'm hoping to open a conversation about what George owners would like to see i.e. tutorials and how to information on that might be George specific? I noticed many mentions in older posts that there wasn't as much content and classes for the George machines as for the long arm machines. So, I'd like to hear from you! What would YOU like to see, know more about and learn on the George?
