  7. This Hartley Fence does fit a Bliss table. It's used for making circles and diagonal lines. It was previously listed at $330. I was unable to change the title of the previous listing to show that all offers will be seriously considered, so I'm resisting this item. I purchased this in late 2013 with longarm machine. I ended up doing more t-shirt/memory quilts than quilt tops, so I haven't had need of this accessory. It does fit a Bliss Table. Asking $330 (includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail), but I will accept best offer! This accessory retails for $595. A Hartley Fence photo is attached for reference. Please contact me at TamaraBobbitt@gmail.com or 713.301.2459 Thanks!

  9. My Hartley Base doesn't seem to fit right. There are gaps between the base and the front of the machine, and also between the plate over the cutter. My rulers are constantly getting caught in them and messing up my work. I'm so frustrated! I've attached a picture. Does it look right to you? I had a 2003 Millie and that one fit snug. This is a 2013 Millie with a new Hartley base and it doesn't seem to fit the same.

  11. I have had my Ultimate 11 for about 4 years now. When I bought it, I did not get all the parts to the Hartley fence, so had put off doing anything with it. Last week, I decided I would try and find what I needed, so I emailed Myrna Ficken with my phone number and a little bit about what I needed. The phone rang about 2 minutes later, and guess who; Myrna Ficken. She helped me decide what I might need. She said she would see if she could find the parts. I received the parts yesterday, and with the help of the workbook, I quilted a baby quilt today with circles. Not perfectly placed, but oh so perfect circles. I am sure I will use this a lot. I think now, I might try crosshatching. Have any of you done that with the Hartley fence? I am 74 years old, recently widowed, marriage of 55 years, so quilting is a great time filler. My husband passed away last April. He only lived for 18 days after we found out he had stage 4 lung cancer. It has been very hard trying to adjust to a different way of life. Thanks for listening to me. With God's help I will be okay. Shirley

  14. I purchased this 14' Millennium new in 2006. It has a hydraulic table lift, base expander for thread cutter, large base expander w/guides, microdrive, Hartley fence metal table, Hartley flywheel cover, stitch regulator, automatic needle positioner, single stitch button, laser light, power fabric advance w/foot pedal and built-in bobbin winder. I also have all the original instructions that came with the machine. I have not used this machine very much, and I believe I have not done more than 20 quilts on it. I purchased 100 bobbins with the machine and they will be included, as well as the several sets of zipper leaders, and any needles I have on hand. I will also include a pattern grid and several pantographs I purchased to use with this machine. I love the machine, but am now helping to raise my two young granddaughters as well as running my farm, so cannot find the time to use it. With extra people in the house, I could use the space. The machine is currently sitting on a custom base with castors in a room with large French doors and could be moved into a moving van, trailer or truck without dismantling of the table. This would only require removing the machine head and minor parts for easy moving. I am asking $10,000 for all, but am willing to listen to all offers. My email is monafilipponi@yahoo.com or you can call me at 208-642-4944 and leave a voicemail. I am located in Payette, Idaho, which is about an hour away from Boise, Idaho. I notice that most people say shipping is on the buyer, but I would be willing to deliver this machine to any buyer who is within a days drive of here. Thank you.
  15. I'm new to the APQS forum, but I've been reading as much as I can whenever I can find a minute. I'm so grateful to have found all of you quilters who are willing to share your wisdom. There is a particular subject, however, that I'm finding is leaving me more confused than I already was. I'm getting ready to order my brand new Freedom, and I'm trying to decide which bells and whistles I should get. Some (not many, to be honest) say get the Hartley Fence. Then there's the Quiltazoid, or Circle Lord. What about pantographs? Here's another big question: If I get the Quilt Path System, would I even need any of these other systems? Any help/advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated!
