  1. Good morning! I have put together a method of learning to quilt that I hope others will find helpful! Please check it out at https://indiequilter.com/2016/04/21/the-graduated-quilt-practice-method/ Have a great day! IndieQuilter
  2. All suggestions on how to do this is appreciated! I have just finished the top for a new Christmas tree skirt. I want to put in on the longarm to quilt it (of course, isn't that why I bought it?). I want to put a ruffle on the bottom of it and I want the ruffle to be between the layers or something so that it looks 'finished', but I can't think of a way to do that, for some reason I can't come up with a solution on how to accomplish this. I am sure there is a SIMPLE answer on how to do this. Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated. My thinking cap is thunk out........ Photo is attached to this post, the red circle is the new top, the other photo is of my old tree skirt that I quilted about 30 years ago on my domestic sewing machine, the ruffle was attached to the top, then the back attached, turned inside out after stitching the seams........pre-longarm! TIA, BobbieSue

  4. Good morning! I'm hoping to open a conversation about what George owners would like to see i.e. tutorials and how to information on that might be George specific? I noticed many mentions in older posts that there wasn't as much content and classes for the George machines as for the long arm machines. So, I'd like to hear from you! What would YOU like to see, know more about and learn on the George?
  5. I still consider myself a newbie here. I see Bottom Line thread is on sale at Superior. I have used it and like it. I am now going to order some in. Do any of you have some advice on certain colors of thread you use more than others? And I'm sure this has been discussed before on forums but do you have a preference of what kind of thread you like? What brand?
