Sometimes I include a tip or technique, a "wish I'd invented that", and a life learning. It's located at Quiltniques blog I hope you can see the picture I attached. No drooling please.

  7. A 17 year old granddaughter picked the purple batik fabric, the blue and green four patch blocks and the orange border for her grandmother to piece. This is the grandmothers second quilt. The only requirement is that i use peace signs on the quilt. I have a single peace sign block and i have a really cute peace sign-heart-star pantograph. And i have a perfectly matching rainbow thread. How would you quilt this? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  8. ive got a quilt that has blocks that are not square, mismatched sashing seams by over an inch, really wavy borders and the blocks have appliqued flowers. Sashing seam widths vary by an inch, too. Should i do an overall panto or go ahead and customize it with something really quick? My instructions are to do whatever it takes to make it look good. And i have a white backing! Any suggestions?
  9. I am getting ready to use this panto called Entangled ...it is a spider web design...it has numbers and arrows that should help with the path and I thought it was straightforward until I went to use it. I can't for the life of me figure out the continuous path...if anyone here has used it and can help me I would very much appreciate it... Here is a pic of it...along with a close up of the numbering and the arrows...
  10. What's your favorite basketball pantograph?
  11. I've googled cheer, cheerleading, pom pom and still can only find one digitized pantograph for a cheerleader t-shirt quilt. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks! 8-)
  12. I am using a pantograph for the first time on my Millie. I see there is a place to attach it on top, and what looks like at the rear right side, horizontally. I suppose the pantograph can only be loaded in back, but when I try to load it on that horizontal rod, it won't grip tightly and swings all over. How do I do this correctly?
  13. I'm new to the APQS forum, but I've been reading as much as I can whenever I can find a minute. I'm so grateful to have found all of you quilters who are willing to share your wisdom. There is a particular subject, however, that I'm finding is leaving me more confused than I already was. I'm getting ready to order my brand new Freedom, and I'm trying to decide which bells and whistles I should get. Some (not many, to be honest) say get the Hartley Fence. Then there's the Quiltazoid, or Circle Lord. What about pantographs? Here's another big question: If I get the Quilt Path System, would I even need any of these other systems? Any help/advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated!
