  2. A recent finish for my great niece's 10th birthday. I've had the fabric for quite a few years thinking it would make a pretty girls quilt and when my niece asked me to make her a quilt I knew what I wanted to use. The pattern is called Zinnia Garden from American Patchwork & Quilting 2017 calendar. My niece loved it and apparently her bedroom is being painted to go with it! Cathy APQS Freedom w/Intelliquilter

  14. Ladies and Gents, One of my friends lost her son two years ago to Domestic Violence. His wife murdered him and was just recently convicted of the crime. My friend has made the commitment to bring awareness to the "genderless" domestic violence issue to honor her son Joshua Hilberling. I want to help by designing a quilt and producing it (with her help - she's my quilting student) so it can be auctioned off by our local intervention agency to help raise awareness to Male victims of this social crime. If I put together a pattern sheet....how many of you quilters out there would be interested in making one in your own communities and donating it to your local intervention agency for the same purpose? It would be made of masculine fabrics....something very simple to make too! Here is my first thought on the design....I really need to get a quilt design software package!
  15. Im not sure if this is the right Forum to post this, but here goes... I have 5- 24inch wide pattern boards from RS Designs for sale. used maybe one time. I have no need for them anymore. They are 15.00 per board..All are single boards. They all have a non slip backing on the they for easy use. All have a name under them for identification.. Boards have very little use..most where purchased for a particular quilt, and then not used again.. Boards cost 35 new, asking less than half.
