Je pense que c'est une grande mani?re pour que je se rappelle et de pratique le Fran?ais que j'ai appris ? l'?cole il y a tant d'ann?es. J'ai ?t? ?tonn? que je pourrais comprendre ce que vous aviez ?crit. C'est un faux patch (un paneau imprim?) mais j'en suis fi?re quand-m?me! Si il y des personnes passion?es de patch comme moi, il vous faut voir cette machine - elle est merveilleuse! In future I will use my own very bad grammar and limited vocabulary - it might make you laugh:D! I am enjoying reading your posts. It is great that you are so excited about your Milennium. I like "cheater cloth" too although they are hard to find here. Are there many quilting machines in France? I know you have at least one quilting magazine, do you purchase others from England, do you get ours from Australia? I would be happy to send you both a copy if you don't. I find the hardest part is the loading!! We do have a couple of quilting magazines here in France. We have QuiltMania and MagicPatch. I don't believe there are many others although in Marie Claire Id?es there is often a quilted project. I am very familiar with the Australian Patchwork and Quilting Magazine - I love it! I love the style there. I also bought Romantic Quilts which I believe is a compilation of projects from that magazine. I haven't had time to make any of them yet....maybe someday. I have a store here in France since Sept. 2005 so my life is quite busy right now. I want so much to PPP with the Millenium but haven't the time to do much! I'd love to meet you someday! J'ai d?couvert le patch voil? 9 ans ? Tours lorsque j'y habitais avec mon mari et mes enfants. Maintenant, je me consid?re comme professionnelle! J'enseigne le patch ? un petit groupe (en anglais et en pouce!), fais des patchs avec toutes sortes de techniques, main, machine, traditionels, modernes, etc. J'ai achet? ma Millie (c'est ainsi que les am?ricaines appellent leur millenium!) avant No?l et ne m'y suis mise s?rieusement quand f?vrierlorsque j'ai commenc? ? prendre des commandes. Je ne travaille qu'avec des patrons mais une fois que j'aurai suivi mon premier cours en mai chez mon vendeur j'ai bien l'intention de me lancer dans le "custom quilting"! Comment traduisez vous ce terme? Je perds mon fran?ais... Je me demande si je pourrais en suivre un en France! Moins cher que d'aller jusqu'au Etats Unis! ou bien en Australie! Je vais me rendre ? Lyon pour Quilt Expo avec 11 amies quilteuses britanniques qui ne me lacheront pas d'un poil! Elles ne parlent pas le fran?ais... A bient?t sur ce site Europa Chat!
