ffq-lar
Why yes, I do have quite a bit of wonderful ham left over from Easter dinner. Who can share some yummy recipes? I made split pea soup today with the bone and lots of diced ham and Den wants baked beans with ham--but I still have more! Thanks to all you wonderful cooks! Boni
To make green eggs, mince spinach and make them scrambled. I don't know about the green ham--possibly mint jelly glaze?
IBQLTN2
How about some ham and cheese omelets for breakfast.
dtreusch
Garbanzo bean soup. I make it every year in the fall. It's better the next day. http://www.whoradio.com/pages/shows/vanandbonnie/extras/index.html?feed=124530&article=393653
quiltmonkey
Add little chunks of it to rice? Throw some in some baked taters? Little chunks in a green salad? Grind it up in a food processor and make deviled ham spread with it or make "ham" burgers with it? (sorry...couldn't resist that one!! :P )
Boni
Hey, don't laugh. That's the best ham burger! Just add a fried egg and call it breakfast.
AnnHenry
You can build a one-dish fried rice meal around any meat plus onions, garlic, green peppers, mushrooms, and assorted vegetables. Best in a wok but frying pan will work.
Dar
The obvious around my grandmother's kitchen would be ham and navy beans (soup) or thicker and served with sweet corn bread. Yum yum now I want to go buy some.:D
