gaildrake
`I have a suggestion if we do another swap. How about each person write a little something to the person getting the square of fabric and at least say where you are from. Then just paper clip it onto the fabric. Any other ideas out there ?????????
rcck00
I like that idea, Gail. This was the perfect swap... quick, fun, and beautiful fabrics!
JudyLynn
I stapled a business card from the quilt store on each square that I had sent along. I think it is nice to see where the fabric came from. The Plaid Square in Glasgow MT has a website, so those who wish can browse it.
gaildrake
Judy; I think your card made me think of the note on each piece from each other. I will look your website up and browse. I thought that if someone wanted more of the piece they got that they would know where they could get more. Some pieces I received I've never seen before and I thought they were lovely. gaildrake
I also thought we could add a pattern idea for the fabric. Or just a pattern to add to their collection. Or maybe add a tip of the day on a piece of paper pertaining to quilting. Have you ever thought of a notion swap? Something small but oh so useful ! Maybe your own idea of a notion that you have come up with !!! Oh, it's only 7a.m., . . . . I better quit while I'm ahead and go to work. I'll be gone for a few days so don't expect me back for a few days. I'll miss this

sewingjunky
Thanks to all of you that participated. I think it turned out great and now I have enough batiks to do either the applique I wanted to do, or I have enough to do a diamond type design or a log cabinish design. I can't decide. Have a great day!
witha'K'quilting
I have already started my quilt...designing it that is! When the kids go back to school...then the real fun can begin putting this quilt together.
