Tami
Can anyone tell me if the power fabric advance on the mille is a blessing or not such a big time saver or necessity. Thanks
Butterfly
I recently bought a Freedom, which is the same size as the Milli and got the fabric advance too. It's easy to use and I'm soooo glad I have it. I think it probably shaves a good bit of time off loading and advancing. Jessica

MarieBrewer
I really like mine. I chose to spend the $ on that rather than the power lift.
TracyeQ
I wouldn't have bought a machine w/out it. I use it that much.

Beachside Quilter
Tami: For me, it is a blessing and a time-saver. This was one of the features that sold me on APQS, along with the adjustable handles which I love. It is money well-spent! witha'K'quilting
I too can't imagine life without my power advance. I love it. I have a friend with an HQ16 who always mentions how nice my power advance is too!
srichardson
I love mine and it was one of the things that made me go with the Millie. I have difficulty turning and tightening things with my right hand and the power advance takes care of that problem. Sue

Tami
Well...this is a resounding yes. Thanks everyone! I am now one step closer to knowing which machine to order. Would I save a lot of $ by waiting to order at Int'l Quilt Festival or are the prices kept the same as the usual sale price?
srichardson
Tami, I recently went to an APQS Road Show in my area and the prices that were offered there were amazing. I don't know what will be offered at Quilt Festival but if there is a Road Show in your area check it out. Sue
Hollyrw
I didn't realize it was an option. LOL I can't imagine rolling the quilt without it.
Gator
Wouldn't be without it. The power advance was the main reason I chose a Millie.
PamelaA
I too thought the fabric advance was standard on a milli so I have just taken it for granted. Recently I watched someone forward their quilt using a hand crank system. After seeing that I am thrilled I have the fabric advance on JJ.
