luvquiltin
I have a huge quilt I am doing for a customer. The backing is in many pieces and have very little extra for trying to square it. I cannot get it on there. I am so frustrated now and can't think straight. I am open for any and all suggestions. Quilting Heidi
Load it first to your take-up roller (don't worry if it isn't completely square) then roll onto the bottom bar. Roll back and forth several times if necessary until you get it rolled onto the backing bar nicely. The start quilting!
luvquiltin
Thank you Heidi!! I finally got it loaded. I was overthinking and freaking out a little. The seams were tightening up and other parts were sagging. But as I did what you said it slowly did what I wanted it to do! Thanks again...Lisa
Quilting Heidi
Lisa, Glad you got it worked out. I learned that from DeLoa on my first trip to Camp Mowana. I think it is one of the best lessons I've learned and I use it on every quilt!
