No...in fact..what I do is..I stitch to the point, stop. . reposition, and do the nexgt side, etc. The curved edges (for me) are so easy to hold on to. So, I just have to reposition my hand and keep going. Make sense? Also, you can use them by using them as a template to draw with your quilters chalk, sewline chalk, etc..and get some really nice soft curves.
