I hope she likes it! Please let me know what she says when she sees it. Also, I have her address in Germany to send the quilt but I need to see the address in english as I do not recognize one of the symbols she used. Please email that to me privetly. I created a little montage of the quilt in a new album. If you wish to see them as well you can go to this address. photoshow.comcast.net/sewfarsewgood/quilting Hope this works, I am experimenting with a new photo site. Grammie
This quilt is to die for. The photo slide is really cool Sherrie. I would love to see a shot of the back if it shows. The border really suits this quilt. This quilt will get alot of attention. It's beautiful
ramona-quilter
Sherry, Well, that beats all I have ever seen. It's like two different quilts, the before and after. How did you 'see' those designs? How long did it take you to design it? The furrows in the line of hexs, the X's, the stars from the hex flowers. I would just love to learn the 'process' that took you to that design. I would never have seen those designs in there. Do you have special magic glasses? It is a winner, Sherry. I've had the pleasure to have seen this top as work in progress and as finished top. I can't wait to see it quilted at the European Quilt Championships in October - with a nice top award ribbon attached, that's for sure. WOW WOW WOW! LindaFritchen
An awesome quilt! Have been watching with great anticipation to see it here. (Very nice photo show, too.) Love how you played with the shapes to get the flowers, X's, etc. to blend through the row. Congratulations to the owner and the quilter. It's artwork that deserves every prize it gets. Thanks for sharing.

SherryRogers
Thanks girls! I was a bit skeptical about this quilting as it is quite graphic and the designs I choose were quite linear, so it is quite nice to read that you all like what I did! I have uploaded more photos of the back and some drawings that I did before quilting. I LOVE the design process that goes along with the quilting and I LOVE that we all see differant things. I still find those *How will you quilt it* quilts fasinating and always spend hours looking at how each person perceives the quilting. Linda, I changed the music on this newest album. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you but I had to write the music and lyrics before publishing! But I should tell you, that she is haaaaaaaaaaapppppppyyyyy!:D:D I?m happy too! Berst wishes from over the ocean.... Claudia
