srichardson
I have read in the last couple of weeks about fabric and batting going up in price and decided that I should probably buy some rolls of batting and beat the increase. I do not have a business and so pay retail prices. I found a site www.quilternatives.com selling QD 70/30 blend for $189.99 for a 93" x 30 yard roll. The wool roll the same size is $219.99, both prices include shipping. I am wondering if anyone has found a cheaper retail source for QD? Thanks, Sue
susanramey
That's not a bad price for retail Sue. I buy direct from QD and pay $126 for a roll of blend, the queen size and then pay $26 approx for shipping on top of that.
srichardson
Thanks Susan. I had no idea what the wholesale prices were but I had expected there to be more of a difference. I just spent sometime web surfing and so far that site is the least expensive. It looks as though I may be placing an order with them! Sue
Quilting Heidi
yes I'd agree that is a great retail price, especially since it includes shipping.
gable428
Sue, I get all my batting from that site and have been happy with the service.
srichardson
Gable, good to know. I placed my order on Wednesday and my two rolls of batting are now fighting the Christmas rush somewhere between Virginia and California!
