lnieland
Sometimes as I'm stitching in SR mode, my machine will all of a sudden speed up and take about four or five stitches really fast and then go back to normal speed again. Any thoughts as to why this might be happening or what I can do to prevent it? Thanks.
Quilting Heidi
I would say it is either a power surge or a bad board. I'd call APQS.
mrsbishwit
Mine was doing that last year, my circuit boards were going bad, had them replaced and now everything is fine.
lnieland
Well, now I'm more confused than ever. I used my Circle Lord on the border of the quilt I was working on (making overlapping half circles) and then quilted two lap quilts using the Swirls boards from the back, and not one racing needle episode. I'm starting to think it must have something to do with using rulers, as that's the only time it happens. I just haven't figured out what I might be doing that's causing the problem!
