LadyLake Posted March 4, 2011 Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 I bought Rhonda's Crescent Moon Ruler, hoping to try out curved cross hatch for the first time. However, all the directions currently available (u-tube & pdf) do not explain how to use the 1" vertical marks placed on several spots along the edge of the ruler. I know that Karen McTavish and Rhonda are coming out with a book/DVD in May on how to use this ruler, but it does not help me now. I understand the basics of using the horizontal 1/4" lines on cross hatch rulers, but need guidance on what Rhonda's 1" vertical marks are for. Can anyone help? Thanks! I was thinking that I could really use a large curved ruler and this looked like it would fit the bill. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet....wondered about those markings too???? The vertical marks are to be used to align along crosshairs that you draw through your area to be cch'd. I assume. That's how I use them on the judilators.
