Teresa Couch
just finished a quilt and blew 2 fuses rolling off the take up roller. clamps off, brake off, can't see anything binding or obstructions. It will only move about a quarter turn, before blowing fuse. Machine new in September. A while back, Dawn was going to check on this at the factory. This quilt advanced fine so I didn't follow up with her, but now it's happening again. I will call her tomorrow AM, but if anyone can shed any light on this, I would be most grateful. Thanks, Teresa
Teresa Couch
spoke with Dawn this AM - she's taking care of my problem. Thanks Dawn and APQS - great service! Teresa
zeke
Well, don't just leave us out in the freezing snow. Us out here would like to know what happened to the fabric advance. This way we can have some kind of closure if it happens us also. We know that Dawn has helped you out with the problem, but leaving us out in the lurch does us no good and gives us on insight if the fuses start popping on our fabric advance system. zeke................................. Teresa Couch
Well Zeke - sorry to leave you hanging, but they really don't know what's wrong with it. They are switching the unit out though, so I'm happy.
Joyce
Zeke when mine did this a couple of weeks ago , there was a loose wire in the foot control. This was causing it to short out.
