JustSewSimple
Well, it is a beautiful beautiful quilt and your quilting is stunning! I actually like the "puckered" look but that's just me. quiltedsunflower
Peggy: That is totally gorgeous. Went straight into my favorites. Is there a pattern for this? I love the border applique with center star.
SewWhatsUp
Oooo so pretty. I love the asymmetrical applique. And your quilting is georgous! On another note, can someone tell me how to make a quilt pic a favorite? I definitely want to do it on this one!

PeggyB
Thanks for the compliments. We used quiltsmart pattern to make the lone star. You sew on an interfacing pattern. www.quiltsmart.com The applique is adapted from a Piece Of Cake design book. To save to Favorites go to the top left of the messages above the blue line but below the blue line that says search and the third button is save to favorites. kerileann
It was so good to get an idea of what wool washes up like. This is an amazing quilt!! Can imagine it is one of those shocking experiences, better to be able to sleep on it and have new eyes the next day. (sadly you did not have that luxury at the time)
