PattyJo
Maybe someone here can help me. I heard this at Innovations and thought "oh yea, that makes sense" but now I can't remember (some timers strikes again) so can anyone tell me which side of the batting goes up toward the top? Or is just some dream I had and I think that there is a right and a wrong side to batting. Thanks
Mary Beth
Patti Jo, You are right - there is a right side. There is one side that looks like it has little holes poked in it - that is the top side. The other side just looks kind of fluffy. That is if we are talking about Hobbs or Quilter's Dream - I don't know about the others.
onesewise
Patty jo, I just asked this a few days back and got some good tips..look in the search part for batting. But, if Warm and Natural...dirty side up, if Hobbs 80/20 stubby side down. Elaine
dixieqwv
I had this question earlier this week so Iwrote to Warn'n'Natural .... response: Yes, the Warm & White has a scrim, the same as our Warm & Natural...one side will look more flat than the other, I would put the flat side to the back fabric... Mary Beth
I may be way off, but I think if you look at the batting it looks like a needle punched through on one side and it is kind of smooth with needle holes. I think that is the top side of the batting. When you think about your machine needle going into the batting - the same as it did when then batting was made - that makes sense to me- but I am a goof ball sometimes.
