patrea
When working with a panto, coming off a point, my stitches become very long. I've turned my needle slightly to the left, slowed way down and cleaned/oiled everything. Anyone have any suggestions?
DawnCavanaugh
Patrea, Do you have the "Quilt Glide" feature on your machine? If so, turn the knob on the front of the machine completely off (rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks) when you do pantographs or any large designs. The Quilt Glide is designed to provide greater control and motion when doing fine detail quilting. However, when doing large designs like pantographs, you will get large stitches as the Glide feature kicks in and out as you move from slowing down at direction changes to speeding up on the "straight aways".
