Is there a right/wrong side of QD wool and 70/30 battings? There is nothing on the packaging about one particular side being up or down. I thought it would be a good idea to ask rather than find out the hard way!

i use QD 70/30 quite a bit and I started out doing the 'pin' test ... stick pin into batting and whichever side is resistive, that side goes down. however, i soon discovered that QD 70/30 does not have a resistive side. so it doesn't really matter which side goes up/down. but it doesn't hurt to go dimples up, pokies down. i've used this on a lot of quilts and have never had an issue. go for it!

Actually, if you look at the Dream Blend batting on the Quilters Dream site, it does say that the blend has a light scrim. You'd need to put that side down. The Wool and the Puff are thermally bonded, so there is no right side for those.
