LadyLake
Thank you everyone. This feels almost as bad as getting up on stage and having to talk! Meg, the general size of the quilt is 62" x 65". Joanne, the background was done by chalking a grid and doing a sashiko design. I added the second line of quilting using an orange thread doing a ribbon effect, to give the background more presence. I really appreciate you all being out there to share with every day. I have learned so much from each of you.

ffq-lar
What a combination--the piecer's color sense and meticulous piecing and then your stitching--WOW! Such obviously well-thought-out quilting motifs and thread color choices. Great job!

Sandra Darlington
I really love, love love it! Your quilting is so spectacular on this quilt and just so perfect for the piecing. BTW, the piecer deserves a lot of credit, too, as she did a wonderful job. Third place is such an honor, although I would have thought 1st place was more deserved for this beauty.
