Debbie Brown
I have a request for a whole cloth - Crosshatch pattern Queen Quilt top. I do not have the Quiltzoid, Circle Lord or Hartley Fence. Is there a way to do the Crosshatch pattern without one of these attachments successfully? Suggestions please.
Bonnie
I use and love my crosshatching tools/rulers that I got from our Linda R. The clamp onto the leveler bar and are easy to use. Go to. www.topperquilttools.com
Debbie Brown
Thanks Bonnie, could you elaborate a bit more on this method. I don't know that I've seen these.

If you click on the link there is a picture showing them under crosshatching ruler. They clip onto the black leveler bar....I'm assuming and maybe I shouldn't that you have one on your machine. They are set at 45degrees both left and right side and you place them where you what them and run your foot down or up the length of your area. Debbie Brown
Yes on the black bar, I have the "Millie" and table. I'm looking at the website now. Have you seen or used the "Topper" for using boards and a stylus from the front of the machine. I have several R & S Boards that I cannot use on the back of my machine for lack of space between the carriage base and table.
Bonnie
Love my topper as well. Is your table with of without the bliss system. If it's the bliss I will look tomorrow to see how to make it higher. I have both and don't use them yet on that table.
Debbie Brown
Without Bliss System. Thank you for checking on how to raise. Question, would you tackle a whole cloth Black & White Quilt with Rulers? I've thought about the Quiltzoid or similiar product - would it be easier to Crosshatch with one of those attachments? Primitive1
I always use Linda's crosshatching rulers for all of my crosshatching and I have done lots of it!

quiltmonkey
Do you have an APQS machine? If so, consider Linda Rech's xhatch rulers. They are awesome!!!
livismom
Hi! I'm very interested in the rulers, but it's hard to tell from the pic if there are registration marks for spacing (1/4 in., etc.). If so, I'm sold! Thanks - Nicole
carolinequilts
There are no marks for spacing, but I drew mine on myself with a Sharpie.
Primitive1
I just added blue tape to mark 3/4" because remember that your hopping foot adds 1/4 inch. That gives me 1" crosshatching.

What to do??????????? You sell these to someone who has a Lenni and get another pair for your Freedom. When I sold my original machine I knew they wouldn't fit my next machine so I gave then with the machine as part of the Package.
