barbm
I have a customer quilt I'm just loading, and she's given me a Tuscy Silk Batt to use. I know which side up for Hobbs 80/20 and even W&N and lots of others, but this one is new to me. Is it the same? Poly side to the backing?
BethDurand
I've never tried it, but I think that the poly side should go towards the backing. Or, when you open it up, it should be folded wrong sides together.
Merryjo2003
I have used this batting w/o any problems. I don't remember if there were any instructions on the packaging or not. If ever in doubt, I "pin test" it. Which ever side has the least resistance it the right (top) side of the batting. On some, I just can't feel a difference. I haven't had bearding or other problems so I guess it didn't make any difference! I read somewhere that this batting was good for people with allergies. I thought 100% cotton was what most people with allergies liked. The silk quilted fine.
