AHuffman
I recently did a custom antique Dresden plate where every block was slightly different and I wanted to use the same motif in each but they needed to be sized to fit. I used the "trace" feature on IQ to basically map out the abstract area between the blocks so I could easily size and place my desired motif. I made a video of the process. Corey
Thanks Angela, IQ makes our job look easy. I was working on a custom quilt today, applying all I could possibly remember from all my 11 IQ classes last week @ MQX. It Was fun for me. Gator
Great job Angie. I actually use trace around applique and embroidery for the no sew zones. It gets the quilting really close to the designs without stitching them. BTW, I'm heading up to Shirley's advanced class next week. We're making wholecloths and a bunch of other stuff. Should be loads of fun. Wish you would be there also. 3 days of "hands on" training!!!
