lindasewsit
Hi! I have a question about what to do for my SR. I am going along just fine, but when I come to the end of my arcs, the stiches get really small. It is doing it consistantly. I put up a pic. Hope you can see it from the pic that I posted. Thanks for any help. linda
Anniquilter
Linda, have you checked your encoder wheels and made sure they are located exactly where the manual shows. I've found that even a tiny adjustment makes all the difference. let us know how you get on.
lindasewsit
Thanks, Anne! I think they are where they are supposed to be! I'm going to bring this back up to the top, hoping Dawn will see it! thank you!
ffq-lar
Hi Linda, I am not an expert, but when you are completing the arc I assume you are slowing down a bit to hit the corner? As you slow down to a stop in the corner, just a slight motion will cause the SR to throw another stitch. Could that be what's happening? I know I can get four stitches on top of each other at a start or stop just by a wiggle or two of the handles. Just a thought. BTW--your arcs are wonderfully smooth! Primitive1
I wonder if it has something to do with thicker fabric where the seams meet?
