Giftedhands
I want to "sew" my zippers on. How do I lock the wheels so that they only go from left to right along the 14ft? Is there a tool for this? Cynthia taking it one day at a time...

Guest Linda S
Cynthia - on the Liberty, it's that little brass knob on the right side of the machine, down near the box for the stitch regulator (near where your laser goes for pantos). You screw that down so that the head of the machine cannot move forward and back, but only side to side. That's your channel lock. Linda

Susanri
what about the Ulitmate II, I have been laying two screws door stop fashion one in front and one behind on one wheel, to prevent the carrage from moving forward and backwards, are there any other ways to lock the channel? SherryRogers
When I had my Nolting many years ago I used something like this. These clamp onto the rails and are very easy to use. You can get these at any hardware store or click on the link below. http://doityourself.com/store/5921838.htm
