Marsha Nichols
I just recieved my Mille and the thread cutter doesn't cut the bobbin thread. How do I adjust it?
ffq-lar
Is the arm moving when you press the command button? If it is, the arm is missing the center of the two cutting blades. They (the two blades) can be adjusted with the tiny screws accessible through the hole in the clear cover. Look in the manual for how to accomplish this. If the arm isn't moving, call APQS to walk you through some troubleshooting. Good luck and enjoy your new machine!
Marsha Nichols
Linda: the arm is moving, thread seems to catch in the v- notch, continues to the blades but doesn't cut the thread. I slightly tightened the blade screws and tried to cut the thread off the fabric and also on the fabric. ( after slightly tightening the screws, I tested it again before tightening another time and continued until I couldn't tighten them without hard pressure. I printed the manual from the CD and did not find any reference on trouble shooting the cutter blade. I will watch the dvd again.
