ffq-lar
Congratulations! I don't know if George has the option of the larger "M" bobbin, but unless you order it specifically, all of them come with an "L" case. Not enough of forum members have the "M" now so not much feedback yet. The "M" holds a lot more thread but (as with the notorious tension issues "G" brand have with the larger "M" case) your tension changes as the bobbin empties. So I wouldn't know what to suggest. Calamity Jain
George uses the L case and bobbin. You will get a sidewinder bobbin winder with your order, and it works okay but I often wind my bobbins on a Baby Lock quilter that sits nearby. Neher-in-law5
I have George and with the style of quilting that I do find that the amount of thread on the L bobbin isn't a problem for me. I mostly do larger bed quilt sizes, with a more open quilting design.
