Guest Linda S
This is a bit over-quilted, as I found the thread my client selected and my manual quilting did not play nicely with the Fairy Frost fabric (white), so I had to choose some computerized designs that fit the spaces. I'm not sure I like it, but I can tell you that I'm in love with the fact that it is DONE!!

Quiltsinmotion
very nice , I wonder why the Fairy Frost fabric gave you issue's ? Would it be the shimmer ?

Guest Linda S
Carol - Fairy Frost is kind of like fabric sprayed with sparkly paint. It's very pretty, but that coating is a combo of slick and spiky. I couldn't hold a template to it and my stitches just came out sort of sideways. I was using Gunnold thread, which I'd never used before and it wasn't a good combo.

TerriVB
Great job on the quilting. Nice color choices by the quiltmaker--a bold step away from the traditional warm colors used in Judy N patterns!!
Guest Linda S
Thank you all. I think there must be some saving grace to Fairy Frost. I seem to recall that Dawn won a ribbon for a quilt she did that was, I think, all Fairy Frost. It was really pretty! But, she's a far better quilter than I am, so there you go.
