Jeanette B.
What are the best setting for Lucey when doing micro work? Thanks for all suggestions!
Quilting Heidi
If you have glide use that. If you don't go with non stitch regulator mode. It is much smoother and easier on you that dong SR. If you just can't/won't try non SR put your setting up like at 18 so that it is smoother. Jeanette B.
Can Glide be added to the Lucey?
Quilting Heidi
I would think it could but I'm not sure. You'd have to check with APQS rep. I can't add it to my machine as it is a 2007 and they changed th wiring in 2008. I missed it by a couple of months. Oh well someday maybe I'll sell mine and upgrade but not unless I win the lottery! lisae
Hi, Jeanette, Practice in manual (non-regulated) mode. I have Quilt Glide on my Freedom, but I forget to use it! I learned to do micro work such as stipple an pebbles in manual mode. It won't take you long to get the hang of it, and you'll be amazed how consistent your stitches are. Most importantly, have fun! Jeanette B.
Hi Lisa, What do you set your speed?
lisae
Whatever you are comfortable with. Start slower and work up to faster. I think mine is usually on 12 or thereabouts. Not sure if the settings are different on Lucey. Good luck!
