SandraC
Hi Everyone! I haven't posted in a while but here I am, back to ask for some help!!! I am doing custom quilting on a quilt called Home Sweet Home, by Barb Adams/Alma Allen....I'm fairly certain on how I want to quilt it except for the applique scallops around the border! Any ideas would be most welcome! They are too big to leave unquilted. Thanks!
LisaC
Sandra, are they swags? If so, traditionally they can be simply quilted with 3 lines of quilting; the top line resembling the swag curve at the top; the middle a little deeper and the bottom resembling the curve of the bottom of the swag. Norma H
There's a picture of one on Pinterest - if I knew how to pull it down I'd attaché a picture of it.
SandraC
I could look on Pinterest! Is it for the same quilt? or...what did you put in the search bar?

whitepinesquilter
Pumpkin Patch QUilter (Valarie) has a post up about a Snowman quilt she just finished. It has an appliqued scalloped border in which she added extra batting underneath, SID'd and outline quilted. The post is still active so you may be able to get an idea off of it
LisaC
Here's a link to Heidi's post on how to post pics using Flickr. You can try uploading the Pinterest pic into Flickr and attach it here. http://forum.apqs.com/index.php?/topic/31408-adding-a-picture-using-flickr/. Dawn also posted a How To on attaching photos; you would have to search for it. I use Flickr and its easy.
