Bertwood
Is a 100/16 needle considered a "standard" needle for my Millennium? What would I use a 130/21 needle for? Thank you, Janice in Northern Minnesota
RunningThreads
Janice 100/16 is the same as 3.5. Make sure your new needles have the 1955MR designation. 100/16 or 3.5 is what we use the most although APQS ships the machines with 4.0 Go to the Superior site and they have a page with the different sizes of needles and if you click on the package it will tell you what thread they are recommended for. A 130/21 would be for a real heavy thread like SoFine 30. https://www.superiorthreads.com/shop/category/needles/longarm-machine-needles/?Brand=APQS+Needles Nigel
