Beachside Quilter
Customer quilt I did last summer. Her fabrics were so cute, I decided to quilt freehand Watermelon leaves and tendrils in the light, and Watermelon wedges in the darks. Used Rhonda's Crescent Moon ruler for the wedges. The backing fabric is checkered cloth with ants, so I used Greek Key Circle Lord border to make ant trail in borders. https://flic.kr/p/ntQFHZ https://flic.kr/p/ntQ7sH https://flic.kr/p/ntQFJF

JustSewSimple
Our guild did these several years ago and I just fell in love with it! So.....I had the fabric all cut for my mother so she could make one. She used the fabric on other quilts. I was disappointed but it was her fabric.... Most of our members cut ants from black and put several around on the light areas!
