First time posting my work!

Recommended Posts

Decided it was time to share my work.

1-Rick's photo quilt is for a friend who didn't have t-shirts but wanted to make a quilt for his son. I asked if he had pictures and this is what I made. I used my Squarz CL board. He was very pleased. I can't wait til he gives it to his son- who is in the army.

2- Johns quilt is one of my quilting friends. It is for her son and I used the the new CL board- Egyptian eye. I really like this board and so did my friend.

The photo quilt is just simply heart warming. The all over quilting lets the pictures be the star. Every time I see that Egyptian Eye it is just perfect for the quilt. I want it more and more!

Yes...you should be sharing your work.  These are great.  Love those two CL boards and love the quilts.  More please. :)

Thanks everyone.  I do love the CL boards.  I also have some custom work I need to post.  At work now so will get some up soon!  I love all the inspiration I have gotten here!

Thanks again! :)

They are great! I especially like the one with the photos. What type of photo transfer fabric do you use? They look so clear and don't look so stiff as some I have seen. :-)

Vickie, you are doing quite well.  Keep going and it becomes more even and easier as you go.

Love the one you hang in your office..

Hi Vicki,

Can you give me some idea of how you made the photo blocks...I know you are supposed to use ink jet printers...I want to take my photos somewhere to get transferred to fabric but I can't find a place ...

Thanks so much. I used Timeless Treasures. Joann carries them online and I also found them at my local store.

I really enjoyed doing it and my friend was thrilled.
