T Row Studio Posted September 14, 2014 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2014 Yes it is quite warm I have heard you can use just a flannel if you do not want the thickness of the batting. I live in Canada and we keep our house quite cool so the warm of this kind of blanket is both nice and necessary. I like the definition it gives to the stitches also....warning though you must not stretch it or the edges of your quilt will roll a bit.
