InesR
Was stitching right along, very happy with what was happening, dropped the needle to pull up the thread to snip. It sounded like it was in a bind, moaned a little, then it shut down, no power, no lights. I unplugged it, plugged back in, still nothing. Also pulled the cord from the machine, still no power. Any suggestions?
SYork
I would suggest that you have blown a fuse. Check that.
Beachside Quilter
Check for blown fuse; remove power cord plug from machine. Using a small screwdriver pry open door next to plug opening. Fuse is located inside; remove blown fuse and replace with spare inside drawer.
InesR
Thank you so much!!! Found the fuse, it was blown. Replaced with the one in the drawer, whew, glad that was there. Turned it back on, pulled power, husband shouted for me to turn it off, it kicked off the tv..... I think it was trying to do what I had asked after it went out.... Yep, I pushed a few buttons......But, turned back on and it seems to be fine. 1st order of business is to replace the fuse in the drawer ") Lenni is well again, very grateful. Beachside Quilter
Wonderful! Be sure to buy slow blow fuses; available from APQS or Radio Shack
