So I've been trying to expand my "how to quilt this block" thinking.  Actually, I'm trying to think how to quilt out of the block.  But here's my question?  And I know it's a personal opinion but that's what I'm asking for.

On a scrappy, busy quilt like this would you bother "thinking out of the block" or just do an all over type of quilting?

Thank you for your thoughts!

I might be tempted to do an all over design since the quilt is 'busy' (but beautiful) Sometimes the quilting can get lost in a quilt such as this, so all the hard work isn't seen well.

Swirls and feathers to make the stars dance!  What a pretty quilt.  Those white spaces are all the invitation I would need to insert a cute quilting design!
