connieb
I finished this quilt about a month ago. I was having a really difficult time trying to decide what to put in the outer border. I pulled out my books and looky there an idea!!! from Linda's Sashing and Narrow Borders book. I may have changed it a little but it gave me inspiration, just what I needed. This group has been great and although I've not been posting for a long while I still really appreciate every thing I've learned here.

Quilta93
Wonderful job. I'll have to try that in a border. That would work better in a quilt for a man better than feathers. Deb.

Cagey
Connie: I like how when you first see the quilt the piecing stands out. Then when you look more closely, the quilting starts to come to the forefront. The quilting and thread color you used in the border truly pops. Great job.
