ffq-lar Posted July 26, 2017 Report Share Posted July 26, 2017 My favorite is Essence by Filtec. It's super-thin, inexpensive, and fairly strong. I don't change the needle, but reduce both the top and bottom tension. Pull the top thread through the needle and reduce the tension until when you let it go, there is little curl. Primitive1 Posted August 2, 2017 Report Share Posted August 2, 2017 I've used monopoly for many years and only have to loosen the top tension a turn when I put in on the machine...I will have to give the Essence a try next time I need to order some....
