Stitch length adjustment

Recommended Posts

I know that there are some screws that can be adjusted on one of the circuit boards on the back of the machine but that should  ONLY BE DONE WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH AMY OR ONE OF THE OTHER TECHS FROM APQS OFFICE.  Quite a few years ago it seems my stitches weren't of consistent length and there was a measuring process I had to go through.  I would first check to make sure your encoder wheels are making good contact and not slipping anywhere.  (I also have the non-bliss system).

Another vote to give Angie or Amy a call.  I had exactly the same problem, no matter where it was set, I seemed to get tiny stitches.  Angie had me check my encoders for wear and proper adjustment (they needed to be adjusted), and then directed me to the circuit board and walked me through a couple of  adjustments on the circuit board screws. it didn't take very long, plus Angie and Amy make it very easy - they have photos and instructions that they send to you so you know exactly what to look for.
