ClaudiaPfeil
Hi Sherry and Linda! Thank you for the nice compliments! With my Quilt "Rondo Veneziano" I was inspired by the mosaiques (right spelling?) of the floors in old churches of Venice ,Italy. I?ve had a picture out of a book about this theme. I?ve made the pattern by myself - with circles and dividing the circle in multiple parts. And this for me, who is really a non-mathematical person! It is sewn on paper, what is easy, because it is always correct! The ornaments in the corners are hand applicated, and it is quilted by hand( I haven?t had the mille at this moment yet!) Now....the time has changed:D and my mille is working with me!!! Or: I?m working with my mille??? Best wishes from over the ocean Claudia Pfeil, Germany www.quilt-und-co.de
