After a period of several weeks working on my new show quilt I started with this customer quilt last week...back to business;) It was soooo much fun....please have a look! Have you seen on Sabine´s website what beautiful cross-stitched samplers exist??? Wooow.... what a patience to stitch this! I\'m a collector of strange old things and I think there are some red t-towles in my cupboard. I recall some that had "the Commonwealth of Australia" on them. May have to go on a hunt. You are right, beautiful work and to think they did that without electricity!! My mother is very good with embroidery.
