The Crafty Unicorn
Where are you finding Aplaca batting? I have a friend who raises Alpacas. We are trying to get in touch with someone who makes batting from Alpaca fiber to see how it quilts, but the only one I can find is "Packa-Backs" or something like that. I\'ve emailed the contact info on the website several time with no response. My friend thinks it should make a really warm but still light weight quilt. Gator
I love Quilter\'s Dream wool. "Gator" sews through it like a hot knife in butter. You can wash it with little shrinkage (about the same as 100 percent cotton). The price is just a little above the poly and cotton battings. If you have a business license, they\'ll sell it to you wholesale with no minimum purchase. You can get sample packets from them also. The best advantage is that their warehouse/business is right here in Va Beach:cool:
