-- This one is Jennifer's that I just finished.

-- This is the same quilt but I did it last year. It's Barb's . . these two girls do everything together. They were both quilted the same but I didn't get a very good picture of Jennifer's.

I used Madeira Monofilament thread and stitched around the ditch of everything in the center of the quilt. I had Coats Dual Duty in the bobbin. Then I went back and using Superior Bottom Line in the top and bobbin, did a small stipple in the light areas that formed the "arch" around the stars. In the order area made up of the squares, I used Signature purple variegated on top and lavender Permacore in the bobbin and did a feather meander.

Because there was a lot of SID but not a lot of thread changes and it went pretty quickly, I charged .03/square inch. I had originally quoted .035 but reduced it because it went quicker than I had thought.

Judy,

I want to thank you for suggesting that we also talk about how we price things. As a somewhat new full time quilter, I want to make sure that my pricing is right in line with others in my area. I don't want to charge too little and often afraid that I may charge too much. If we are open with what we charge, we may all feel more secure in handing over theinvoices.
