ffq-lar
No matter how well I vacuum I still have fuzzys on my floor. A recent quilt was large enough that displaying it for the customer pick-up with my set-up left it dragging about 3 inches on the floor. I hate to have to re-groom the fuzz and errant threads from the quilt in front of the customer!! I went to Lowe's and bought three plastic wallpaper trays, cut off various ends, lined them up and used them to keep the quilt off the floor. They wipe out with a swiffer and nest to store under a bookcase. I thought I would share.
MarieBrewer
Good idea. I have rubber mats on the floor and have to make sure I vac after each quilt or the threads are everywhere!!
ffq-lar
This shows them fully. I also use them at the machine to catch the batting if there are not yards of it--keeps it clean and I just push it under the frame.

matildanme
Great idea Linda, georgeous quilt too. I think some of that fabric's from the Moda Poetry range. Have yet to do anything with mine, maybe something similar to this. I really like it. Cheers
ffq-lar
Here is a photo of (almost) the whole quilt. It was 92x108 and meticulously pieced and pressed.

Quilting Heidi
Linda that is a great idea! Love the quilt. It is just wonderful to get one pieced so nicely! I had my customer pick hers up, Ocean Waves one, and she dropped off another and it is just as well pieced! Just makes it so pleasureable to work on somebody's quilt and get paid for it too!
