  2. I am just happy that I want to scream out loud! Buying sight unseen can be a scary thing but not here. First, I bought my long arm here, from a nice lady upgrading to a Milli. I really had to trust her as I drove 9 hours each way to get it. Made a new friend and perfect transaction! Second, I bought 14' zippers. Another perfect experience! Now, I bought Circle Lord stuff. Yet another perfectly perfect transaction!!!!! If anyone is on the fence about buying from a stranger, this is THE place!! Honest people here,do not be afraid :-) GO FOR IT! Amie :-)

  4. I just finished a video showing how to use my block outline pattern set to audition digital quilting motifs in order to make sure the seams of a block compliment your chosen design. This video features IQ but you can also do the exact same thing in Quilt Path using the layers within the PatternCad area of Quilt Path.

  7. Good luck Chuck! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I've been using APQS machines since 1997. I've never been even the least bit tempted to switch brands! With APQS, you're not just buying a machine, but unparalleled backup support for as long as you own the machine, even if you didn't buy it through an APQS Dealer. Second hand, 3rd hand or 4th hand machines get just as much support as brand new ones. I was in a well known, international, department store last week shopping for a mattress. An older couple came in carrying a vacuum cleaner that had quit working. It had

  13. Valerie The motor on my Ultimate 1 used to slow down for a fraction of a second and then bounce back up to speed. It seemed to happen more when the machine had been running for a couple of hours and more often if the speed was below 5. I did change the brushes because I had them in stock but that didn't help me. Amy had me check a couple of things but I never did find my problem and didn't pursue it as I knew I was adding Intellistitch. Send an email to Amy and see if she can send you the instructions for checking the brushes. They are a PIA to change compared to the new machines. Ni

  17. My Millie started to do that and I Han to have the bushings replaces. I also up graded to the new wheels while my machine was being fixed in the shop. Now with the new wheels my machine will stutter and skip stitches if my wheels and rails are dirty and they seem to get dirty fast. Try cleaning before more drastic measures! I would start with cleaning the rails with alcohol (as Dawn told me to!). Then I use a wet Q tip on the wheels, dry it with a dry Q tip, and finish with a cotton cloth. I get a lot of black crumbly gunk off them. You can check the APQS home page for maintainance (I eviden

  21. Congratulations on your ribbons! I wonder if our American equivalent to a highly commended is an Honorable Mention? The judges have a certain number of these ( like 10 ) that are handed out in any category that has a lot of good quilts. They are given out at the judges discrection.

  23. We are all "family" here, and that's what families do. We take care of each other! We are honest with each other. We respect each other. The nice thing about it...APQS is our parents! LOL!!
