    Tumbling Cubes

This quilt was a bit of a challenge for me. The customer wanted it very modern with straight lines, but not very much quilting. And she didn't want the quilting to be the star of the quilt. She definitely wanted me to change fillers throughout the quilt. I would have liked to do the fillers a little bit denser, but didn't think that is what she wanted.

    Thank you Betsy

Thank you again Betsy. The bobbins will come in handy. From time to time I give out bobbins to my service clients. It seems that everyone likes a few extra bobbins from time to time. Thanks again. Let me know if I can do anything for you. Zeke.

    She was only 95!

Last year I have Liz a couple of charm packs for her 95th birthday. Last week she came over and said it took her a year to figure out what to do. So for her 96th birthday I quilted her quilt today using Quilt Path on Frannie Ann, my Millie. The panto design is Fresco by Patricia Ritter of Urban Elementz! 20160713_181932 by Dell Dunman, on Flickr Thanks for looking.

  5. Well, I finally finished my quilt dedicated to my two brothers who I lost the first of the year. I needed an easy quilt that I didn't have to think about...didn't want any choices to make..didn't want to buy any fabric....just needed something to get me back in the mood to quilt.....this is what I came up with. I know it probably needs a bit more color. LOL. I figured lots of color would get me out of a dark mood. The back was just a plain light grayish/blue paisly color and didn't show the quilt design so I didn't take a picture of it. But it worked....now I need to plan a new q

    Grandsons quilt

Here is a quilt I made for my three year old grandson. You can't see much of the quilting, it is mostly Sid and outline of equipment with a meandered background. He told me it was beautiful. Just love how little ones react. Thanks for looking.

    Finally quilted!

This quilt was made for a dear friend who was retiring, I agonized for months about how to quilt it! I finally decided I just needed to do it.

    Mono poly thread by Superior

Caddy: APQS says only fill the bobbin half full for a L sized bobbin, and a 1/4 full for a M sized bobbin. The class I took also said to slow down the speed you wind the bobbin, and back off a great deal on the tension. You do not want the monofilament to be stretched as it goes on the bobbin. If it does, it can cause tension issues. If you are not sure if you need to place the spool vertical or horizontal, it is explained rather clearly at the 9 minute 38 second point on the above video I shared. If you want to go MacGyver, find a three to four inch block of that comes in the

    Daughter bag

Bonnie: I am sure she will love it. If not, I would gladly buy it for the music director at my church. I always like when the inside of the bag is a bright color. I hate it when it is black, and everything hides in the bottom. Cagey

  15. Joyce: I cannot tell you what to charge for your baby, all I can say is do not lose faith. It has only been a month since you put it up for sale. The George I bought was up for almost 3 months I was told. Once I called, she got a number of calls to buy it after me. When it is supposed to sell, your buyer will show up and it the deal will be perfect for both you and them. You might find out what it costs to convert the table to 12 feet. I would not think the rulers are all that expensive, but I have no idea. That way you can at least the 12 foot people it will cost $YYY to convert it
