    New Lenni on it Way

I just got notification that my new Lenni is shipping in the day or two. I can't wait so excited so I just had to let everyone know. I am a bit nervous to as this is my first longarm. I will probably have lots of questions. Carol

Thanks for the help, ladies. I've been putting this off because I'm so nervous about it but I've GOT to get it done so I've purposed to at least get it marked and loaded today. Cross your fingers! I'll try to load a picture when it's finished.

Here are three more totes I am making for Christmas presents. I do the piecing on the long arm then remove and make the tote. These are quick projects to make. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

I just got Lucey about a month ago. Not new to a longarm, but I want to tell you this from experience. Use good thread in the bobbin and upper thread holder. I use Superior thread. Use the same thread for a while before switching it. Practice, Practice and Practice. Not to be bossy, just to help you. Have fun quilting!

The next time you have some on the LA take some pics of the different stages of the process and share please. I want to try this. I bought fabric when I was in Oregon to make a quilt for my daughter using this technique. Update: Hey! I was able to post a pic of the quilt from Oregon. Yay!

Congrats!!! Welcome to our family. When you get Lenni use and abuse him, he won't bite (well keep your fingers away from the needle). Don't get frustrated there is a learning curve but with a little practice you will be posting pictures of your beautiful quilts. Best advice, be sure you breath while quilting!

Congratulations and welcome to the APQS family! This is a good time to make a few meals and freeze them for when you're having so much fun quilting that you don't want to stop to fix dinner.

Oh, right now I am working on a Singer FW. But she is kind of sick and it may take a bettter surgeon than I. Next will be my great grandmother's "Brand new Singer sewing machine". I knew this one would be mine someday. I will begin working on her in a week or so. She is a treadle, which I plan to use. I have 3 Singer 301s and my favorite a Singer 201-2. I have a Willcox and Gibbs that I think is the cutest machine ever. She is a treadle in a very old cabinet. I also have a couple of treadles that are going out the door. And an electric White that is leaving. I love vintage machines.
