    Juki long arms

Hi Sandy. Welcome to the APQS forum! If I am not mistaken, both of the machines you mention are primarily sewing machines and have limited quilting space. Only 9" for the TL 2000, and I couldn't find any info on the other one, just a picture. They appear to be decent machines for domestic machine quilting. If you plan to do any quilting for other people, please hold out for a "big girl" longarm (as Cindy Roth) calls them, with at least 18" to 20" of throat space, and a good stitch regulator. Wait for a top quality longarm, too. My sewing machine repair guy services all kinds of sewing machines

    Juki long arms

Hi Sandy welcome to the forum. Sharon has given you very good advice. I don't know where you are located but I highly recommend you go to one or more of the shows and test drive different longarm machines. If there's no shows near try joining a guild or just ask around if anyone would demonstrate their longarm for you (maybe even let you do a test drive). Check our dealer/retailer locator on this website, you may have one near you. All the APQS dealers will let you test drive their machines and offer info to you. A longarm is a big investment, so get something you love and meets your re

  4. So... with me taking some time off during the holidays, I had a "stay-cation" and I a few days ago, I finished another beauty. It's a pattern designed by Judy Niemeyer called Paradise in Bloom. This one is pieced by one of my most favorite customers. She is amazing. She's 80 years old, she lives in Castle Rock Colorado and she sends me all of her (absolutely impeccably pieced) quilts to finish for her. It truly is my honor and joy to be part of this project. She is in the hospital right now, so I am keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. Love and prayers to my special friend, Sonja ....

    Coming back!

Hello! I am finally finding my way back here after a long hiatus! I joined after getting my Millie in January 2014. But in June 2014, my 4 month old nephew Isaac was diagnosed with SMA 1-a terminal, genetic disorder. It is the #1 genetic killer of children under the age of two. At the time, my sister and BIL were told to take him home and love him and he probably only had 6-8 months. Well, due to intense care by my sister, BIL, in home nurses, constant prayer and support of people from around the world and now one year of a miracle drug called Spinraza, Isaac will turn four in February!

Sad to hear of your family health issues wonderful to hear life is improving! I will be praying for health, strength and courage for the whole family!

    Just saying hi!

Hi All, It has been so long since I've been on the forum. I don't get much computer time these days. I keep my daughter's twins who are now 16 months old!!!! No idea where that time went. For all my old friends that followed Landon's story, he is doing great! It has now been 1 year since he had his open heart surgery and he is thriving. He is such a little charmer. He will probably still need more surgery but for now we are so thankful for how well he is doing. Scarlett is doing wonderfully too. They both have brought so much joy to our family. Most days I'm crazy busy chasing t

    Just saying hi!

Madelyn, Maddie is doing really well. She came to stay with me last weekend, it had been a while. I couldn't believe how much she grew, now almost 5' tall! She is just as sweet as always and is such an easy kid. It was the first time she actually talked to me about her mother and the whole situation. I know she loves her mom but she also knows that it wasn't her fault. She told me that mommy "made bad choices." She knows it wasn't daddy or I trying to keep her from her mom too. It is amazing she is such a good kid. Hopefully I'll see her more now.

  9. I have decided to upgrade my machine and am offering for sale my 2016 George. This machine is almost a new machine because I have only used him on practice quilt sandwiches. When I purchased George, I ordered the larger size "M" bobbin case, the black light circuit board and the interchangeable foot kit. The table is the standard 5' table. I am also including the following: homemade suspension system Deluxe bobbin winder for "M" bobbins several jars of colored magnetic bobbins - size M the new interchangeable ruler foot with case needles/extra bobbins ja
