Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I had figured out most of what was happening and had made adjustments but it is not as good as I would like. I now have ideas that will help next time. Again, thank you.

I am using dark thread on both top and back. There is a small dot of batting showing at each stitch on the back side. I have changed the needle and bobbin and have adjusted the tension. There was some improvement but it is not corrected yet. This is a new trick for "George". What am I missing?
